- Freeze Display of Active Time Window
- Adjust Timeframe and Zoom Factor
- Maximize a Single Trace
Your Cheetah DAS includes several standard, easy-to-use features. This TechTip shows you how to utilize the following features during acquisition and recording.
Freeze Display of Active Time Window
During data acquisition and recording, you can temporarily “freeze” the display of an active Time Window by simply pressing the Space Bar. Once the display is frozen, you can navigate backwards in time, up to 30 seconds, in the window using your Left and Right Arrow keys.
Pressing the Space Bar again will resume the display with the current data stream.
Although you won't be able to see the data acquired while reviewing the frozen display, the data is being processed and saved to disk if recording.
NOTE: In both “How To” videos below, these features are demonstrated with a sweeping sine wave, 0.1 Hz to 100 Hz.
Adjust Timeframe, Adjust Zoom Factor, or Maximize a Single Trace
Right-click inside your Time Window to open a context menu. Within the context menu you can set your Timeframe. If you right-click on a single trace and select Maximize View that trace will fill your Time Window. You can further adjust your zoom factor by changing the Zoom All Plots setting. All of this can be done either while viewing real-time data or while the Time Window is frozen. This allows for enhanced review of real-time data without stopping your recording and reviewing the data in other software.
